Gota be fast if your ever going to own a manual vn/vp : ), don't worry about the clutch you can get new ones, the VR's auto likes to break when it's old anyway

Definately go the VP manual, I know VR is newer but i personally prefer the look of the VP better... Also manuals are more fun, and fairly rare to find in commodores so you should get more money when you go to sell it again :D

I would go the VP manual, just cause its manual really but i like VR's way more, and VR SII did not come out with an ecotech because i own one and i do know lol

I guess it all depend on what you what it for , if it just going to be 2 1/2 grand trash box
definately go for a manual. (auto's are no fun)
on the other hand if you are planning to do your car up at some stage or want something that looks at least half descent grab a cheap vr

p.s. ecotech is a VS]

$2500 wont get much of a car if its a VP or VR...

you might be lucky and pick up a low km VL that been looked after though...

alright im leaving getting a car abit longer now so that prices will drop abit more but ive decided to get a VR thats it just going to focus on getting a good VR now.

Six shooter do you live in NSW ....... coz i dont think you do a VL that has been looked after around here would be about $1000 VN's that have been looked after are about $1500 and so on ......

Nah not N.S.W.... I'm in SA.... those are damn cheap prices your quoting...

Mate if you got $ 6500 there's a bargain S2 VS Calais to be had in N.S.W.

Looks nice @ 190,000 Km
