clean swap vs for vl good or bad?

I love my VL, no one's tried to steal it and I don't exactly live in the best area. Mine's fully insured for fire, theft, accidents, flooding, you name it. I drive it every day and love it. But each to their own I guess.

On topic, if someone offered me a VS for my VL, it'd be hard to say no unless their VS was an absolute POS.

Your lucky then most thieves go for cars that can be started with a screwdriver

ok maybe i went abit overboard when driving me mates berlina it had crap brakes steering and yes the rb30 had no guts so to speak. but with that being said i still like them maybe his one isn't the best one aye? if i were to swap with someone with a vl it would have to be clean and running good. only reason i've been thinking of swapping is because im sick to death of having a v6 give me a straight 6 any day also interested in the falcon el-ef (yes FORD) i dont choose a car just because of its name haha

fair enough, VL's do look alot better than the VS. price range is about the same area but the VS 3.8ltr ECOTEC is a much better motor, unless you get an RB30 with a massive turbo with an engine kitted out all the way then the 6 is better.

i was asked a little while back if i would swap my VL for a blokes VS..

i said to the fella... "what makes ur VS special".. he goes its got Rims, and a Stainless Exhaust Tip
I then asked "any mods?" He goes nope Stock i was then Like

If you are hooked on straight sixes swap the VS for an EL, not a VL. An EL Fairmont is cheap as chips, goes well, and has all the creature comforts. A lot of car for not a lot of money. Otherwise, stick with what you got
