Hi,
Got some red door and bumper moulds for the ss from the wreckers the other day due to mine looking like this from sun damage/cut and polish damage,
Now the ones i got have a few scrapes here and there which i can live with but they also have white paint, what im guessing is little bits of rubber etc on them which i want to remove.
Does anyone know of anything thing that will remove it without turning the moulds the same as the old ones?
i tried
:warm soapy water,
:1200grit sand paper on the back of one of them which dulled it,
:a caramel wheel which did the same plus put little marks in it
im a bit hesistant to use polishes/turps/metho etc. Any other ideas?
