Has anyone else noticed a wide variation in the cost of clock springs?

For some reason the VE clock spring seems to top the charts for cost…

$500
https://clocksprings.com.au/product/92265889-clock-spring-holden-commodore-ve/

$740
https://clocksprings.com.au/product/92234063-clock-spring-holden-commodore-ve/

Whereas the same supplier has the VF ones for $180, https://clocksprings.com.au/product/92284316-clock-spring-to-holden-commodore-vf/.

Interestingly, on eBay it’s possible to buy a VF one for $20 (delivered!) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/284467731562

Yeah I wanted one for a spare. As you might know I like to buy new gen parts as they will eventually become NLA and prices keep slowly going up.
I fell over when I saw the price. Trade price was no better, so I might have to look at SH.

That clockspring for the ebay vf clockspring dosen't have a steering angle sensor on it. Maybe thats why they are so cheap?
Also not sure if its oem, though it did give a oem part no.
I think its aftermarket?

Correct, no steering angle sensor, just the clock spring mechanism itself, and probably/definitely after-market. But, gee, it’s only $20!

I was thinking of ordering one. I ahd bought a used oem one for $50.00 for a spare, but broke the one that was in it. So had to use the spare.
For me l don't need the the steering angle sensor.

Just ordered one.
