Clutch

I think my clutch pedal bracket or essembly under the dash has has broken or something. Has anyone got any idea about this. What ever the clutch pedal is attached to has bent ,broken. Has this happened to anyone else. Seems strange to me Thanks

For anyone interested. The metal plate that goes across the bottom of the dash also attaches to where the clutch is. This has snapped so I have to investigate futher. Surely it must be held together better than that ?

Wow how dose the clutch feel when it was broken?

One pedal box I have has been welded before. As it has a lot of chicken **** weld. So I reckon it happens a bit.
Just remove it and weld it together again. Add some gussets to add strength.

The pedal box seems to bend down with the clutch going in which also makes my brake lights come on. The bracket that I can see seems to take all the stress. It seems like a very weak set up.
