V6 has 4 (1/2 inch) long bolts that go deep into the block & 4 (3/8??) surface bolts that probably act as a sealant. there's no way anything is leaking out of that sucker provided a gasket is used

Why not use thread sealant like on head bolts that penetrate the coolant passages?

As Above,
Thread Sealant / Gasket Cement on every bolt will be your guarantee it not to leak,
Who would want to disassemble parts of the engine to do what should of been done the first time around.
