Column shift to floor shift conversion help?

Hey guys found a floor shift n console out of a vs sedan for my ute was just wondering how easy it is to do the swap, and will it hook straight up to my gearbox bein column ? cheers

Not sure why anyone would want to give up column shift for floor shift.

I would happily convert the statesman to column if I had the opportunity. (the americans got it right and stuck with it)

ive done it before, cut out the hole, get the linkages off another floor shifter commodore and then basically a strait swap, its an easy job but a fk around if you haven't done it before, it was i little difficult for me because i use the shifter from a vb

Just going to do a ratchet shifter instead lol and keep the column
