I did....3 screws left over when I had to pull half the car apart
looking for a fault with the amp.
Stuffed if i know.

That's why no one would ever say it. I've pulled my dash out 5 times in the last few months and always have something left. And yet each time I swear I pull a screw out of every spot.

I don't mind admitting that. Shows we're human (well some of us are). And I reckon it's happened to all of us at one time or another.

It took me close too 5 years of being a fitter before I can now say... it never happens to me. But man, I worked on a lot of customers vehicles in those years haha

Taken from one, added to another. Can never have enough spares in your toolbox. Especially self tappers.

For me its bolts.. Typically M4, 6 and 8. As I always have boxes of self tappers in various lengths and sizes.
