Commodore Seat Cushion Changing

Anyone have any tips/ instructions on changing the front seat cushions on a VT2?
I can buy just the cushions backside and backrest from GM. Any help would be great! That's gonna cost me $400 so don't want ot fork out on a Motor Trimmer to put them in if I can afford it.

Thanks for the input. Would it help if Ianted to put extractors on my seats or lower them?

was looking through the gregory's manual and there is a section on seats. As far as i can tell it is reseanably easy, just take your seat out and remove trim. Hope this helps.

It's done! The Gregory's helped, wasn't complete, but I nutted it out! Soooo comfy!!

GM-92142974 PAD & COVER ASM Front (Front seat cushion) $83.00 Unit list price.

GM 921429884 PAD and COVER (Back rest minus head rest) $92.50.


These are fore Series 2 VT Exec. The Parts guys did a grouse job as the were trying to work out which set as there are many, for my 9C1.
I did about 5 bucks cheape than that for two cushions and a back rest. Took about 3-4 hours after the mcuking around and trying not to break anything!

Move quick if you want them as stocks were low at present. It's obvious though they are still making them as they are dated 2004 and 2005!!

I just got the bottom cushion for my VX from Amcap for $260.

Holden wanted $430 for the same item.

The prices are pretty ridiculous.

just buy some second hand seats from ebay or the weckers .i bought some vz seat for my vt they are much better than my vt ones and like new...
