Hi everyone,
I have been having issues with my commodore vy - the car starts no problem but will intermittently lose power - the dash stays on only the check engine light shows up when this issue occurs. The cooked thing is it will start up immediately when I start her back up.
I went to supercheapauto and the error code P0342 showed up (camshaft) among other things. I just wanted to get your thoughts on what it could be.
Basically,
- Car starts up fine
- Will cut out intermittently but electrical seems fine -> battery light comes up on dash, lights still work and head unit all has power. It seems to occur most when turning corners, or approaching lights as I am slowing down.
- Steering will cut out but then it starts back up immediately when I turn the key again. Its super annoying
