I can see this fraught with danger.....2 wires in one hand

As for the rocket surgeon.....If that was the case, god help this country....

Why would you have two wires? you only need one wire.

..Don't tell me you're a dodgy person, that gets 1 wire, and uses that one wire to bridge the relay between the 2 outlet points, so the motor is constantly spinning over until you remove that wire from one of the outlets?

Guys, please don't do this across multiple threads. Make one and stick to it.

Losh, I had the same as you, couldn't thread the compression tester into the spark plug hole, so I held it on with the rubber nozzle in the kit, and got the better half to crank for a couple times until the gauge stopped moving. Rinse and repeat. You can always ask a mate or neighbour to help.

Mine is old and the rubber end attachment is long gone. I will either need to buy a new kit or pay. I will have a look at some kits and decide.
