Also side note. All computers have chips. Bit hard to operate without processor chips on them.

P/Car means PASSENGER CAR.

My 2001 WH Caprice also has "P/Car" on the plate, as does every other VX and WH Caprice, Statesman and Grange car I've ever laid eyes on.

No Caprice, Statesman or Grange was ever a factory "police car" so the argument that P/Car means police car does not stand up.

And telling people that it means police car is incorrect and perpetuating incorrect info to spread.
