Hi All.
I just swapped in some SSV leather seats into my SV6 ute, and am very happy with them.............awesome seats!

These SSV seats have seat airbags, which I knew I wouldn't be able to easily connect (my SV6 seats didn't have airbags). I just left the extra connector unpluged.

Now I'm wondering how difficult it would be to connect em up. Obviously a wiring harness would have to be run somewhere. I think perhaps the dash cluster might need programming too (could be wrong here).

Does anyone know what's required, how hard it is to do etc. ?

As well as installing the wiring loom for them you'd also need to take it to a Holden dealer and get them to program it into the BCM via Tech2.

Thanks Astranomical.
The guy who pulled em out of his SSV said he had to send his dash cluster away to be re-programmed so that the airbag alarm would disappear (his replacement seats didn't have airbags). Anyone know if the reverse is true ?
Anyone know if the harness is available as an item from Holden ?

Rgds.
