Consumption economy Fuel average liters Km

I have a fuel consuption of 8.81-9.01/ 100km with my sv6 04 6sp and i dont like to wait around and thats using 98 octane all the time...
- recently changed plugs
- flushed and changed oil
- fuel filter
- k/n Filter
- and adding injector cleaner every refill to full tank
- CAT back 2 1/4 inch

I'm getting around 9.4L/100km with an average speed of 55.3km/h in my 05 S Ute (Manual 6 speed).

It's alright considering i just run standard unleaded fuel, haven't replaced anything since i bought it about a year ago.

That's really good.
But what is your average speed for those figures stated above?
They are the same mods/ things Iv done.

My avarage speed on that is around 75km/h

i avarge about 800km per tank of fuel and i only refil once a week

i recently did a trip to coffs from down south and my highway driving is 7.8l/100km at an avarage of 95km/hr

On the back form Cooma to Melbourne bringing the VZ Cross 8 home, I averaged 11.2 with the cruise control on to Bairnsdale, then from Bairnsdale to home up to 11.9 as the speed limit changes to 110. Pretty good I thought. So far around town with no highway driving average is 14.6 with the odd squirt. I am using BP PULP with no mod's, yet !!!!!!!!

05 vz sv6 6 speed manual... mine sits on 19-20l/100km and avg speed is about 47 kms... i drive it hard but... not that hard.... ive just changed both front o2 sensors aswell.. as scan tool showed a faulty one... the code for the o2 is gorn now but my fuel consumption is still heaps bad... should i be looking into plugs + coil packs... also if u try to flog the car when its cold it hesitates alot and sometimes lets out a backfire then consumption goes up a bit more!!!

seen mine as low as 6.1 but average 9-11 with about 60-40 city-highway

You shouldn't flog it when it's cold but besides that I'd say if it hesitates and fuel economy is bad that you should look at coils and/or leads. How does it idle? Hot and cold?

58.02L used to 583.43km total distance traveled.
Edited, also 11 hours and 20 minutes of driving.

Drove the car any where from highway to peak hour traffic, to the odd 5,000 rpm + to in and around town driving. I really dunno why some people figures are so bad for.

Edited, also 11 hours and 20 minutes of driving.

Ur doing really well man.

Iv got 15l at avg speed 35km/h.
But then again it a 2ton car.
I Never go above 3500 revs. Lol
Power button is off.
Hmm I wonder if running on LPG has an effect on this reading???
