Correct Mixture for Acrylic & Clear Coat Paint

Your local auto paint store will more than likely have swatches for your model car with all the colours it was released in each series anyway. Pick your model and year and it's all too easy.

There are far more differences than just the look off the gun! acrylic paint drys by evaporation of the thinners in it and continues to shrink for a long long time where as 2k paint drys by way of a chemical reaction between the product and hardener and is rock hard in a few days, im not going in to all the technical stuff.. 2k is just as easy to use if not more so than acrylic!
Ask any other qualified spray painter and they will tell you the same.

2k does have a high VOC content and yes it is nasty stuff to breath in, thats why we wear respirators.

I dare say that if he can't afford a professional paint job, then a suit and respirator and booth hire just to spray a bumper are probably also out of the question. 2pak is illegal to spray at home, unless you go to ridiculous amount of trouble setting up a booth and controlling runoff and filters and heat lamps etc, and even then, if your neighbour gets a whiff and doesn't like it then it's your arse on the line. Long story short, no professional set-up, use acrylic.

your a total law abiding citizen are you? never done a burn out or anything else illegal..?? You can paint 2k in a shed just as easy as you can acrylic.. illegal or not it is possible..
