Cost involved in Machining out VE Rims to suit Pre VE

Hey guys,
Eying off a nice a set of rims for the vz at a sweet price, pity there for VE, but wanted to know what the cost involved with machining them out would be? and is it able to be done on all rims or just factory ones?

If a dremel could do that, i would be worried about what material the rims are made out of.. and if the car won't crush them after say.. 30 seconds of removing the jack.

$40-50 per rim is average

i do it to all my ve rims i get and all my mates ones using my dremel, all genuine holden rims, little bit of lubricant and about 30 sec per wheel, better than paying $20 upwards per rim to get it done

Or get a dye grinder. Just as easy. Only took me bout 3 mins per rim to do mine. Your only taking of the lip. Its piss easy. Even for beginners. Or people who have only little technical knowledge.

sorry meant die grinder, too much of the word dremel getting thrown around
the lubricant makes it a shitload quicker
