Hay guys,
1. Whats needed to get a 4l65e from a Ve to bolt on to the back of a 304/355? as I understand the way the converter lockup works is different between the 304 and LS. So would would I need to run the LS converter with the 4l65 and if so will it bolt to my 304 flex plate?
2. I may also be looking into going manual depending on the cost diferance between a built auto and a t5/t56.
If I go T56 will it bolt straight up to the back of the 304 block and also will the flywheel bolt straight to the crank? wiring etc aside will it mechanically work without modification.
3. with a t5 I gather anything vn-vs v8 will be a straight fit? will the pedal box etc from the early models fit the VT? this I don't mind modifying.
