Crank with no Ignition - possible KEY issue?

As above, doesn't sound like a key issue, it will either start and the stop almost straight away or it won't crank at all.
I'm with the holden tech, the engine will not start/run without a CAS connected.

Checked for any fault codes?

A little feedback to possibly help anybody with the patience to use the search function -

I reset the electrical connector on the DFI and all igniter leads off the coils about one week ago and I haven't had a problem since. Failure to start was previously a daily occurrence. If it should occur again I know which component I will focus upon

No disrespect but as for the engine not starting with the CAS disconnected, I'm unconvinced about this theory
