Hey all, I just put new springs and shocks in my hsv ve in the front. But when i turn the wheels or drive a bit it's a loud creaking sound like the springs are moving. I made sure everything is tight, any ideas?

Thanks

Most likely Troy.

The VE's have a tendency for the strut tops to collapse. Did you measure them when they were out?

New bearings aswell?

Did you transfer all the rubbers from the old strut? Right shock installed?

That spring doesnt look right. There should be a point in the bottom of the strut to keep the spring from turning/captive.

So that could be the sound? The spring is moving? Because that's what it sounds like

Definatly could be, if the spring isnt seated right in both the top and the bottom of the strut it could cause movement.
