Your opinion is the manual crewman can be economical on country roads or were you referring to your Statesman? Is the Statesman 6 speed manual too?

I own a vz v6 one tonner manual , which is pretty much the same as a crewman . I have the s pac so it has a 3.45 ratio diff in it and im getting about 450-500 out of a tank , Mind you the tank is only like 64 litres . But I can never get that much into the tank.

Dues to the weight and the leaf/commercial setup is why they drink petrol . Its not too bad thou , but a commodore wagon will get more k's to a tank .

Mine is 5-speed auto, what I was getting at was a car weighing less than mine with an extra gear should get better economy everywhere -city or country.

I normally just fill it up full each time ,then drive around till its on the red E with 50 or so k's left . But the weird thing is I can only put like 50 litres in most times as the crewmans/one tonners tank is a weird shape and holds like 10 or so litres in the bottom of it as backup
