OTHER INFO: I have have here a set of door pods from a VS commodore that were custom built by Damo95 over at MEA when he had his VS commodore. These have been formed with the original pods, you will see in the pictures what I mean. They are made of MDF, a lot of fibreglass and have been vacuum formed. For more info on vacuum forming, see Vacuum forming - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Vacuum forming makes the pods appear as though they look factory.

These are not just some random custom pods, these are very solid, very well constructed pods.

I have uploaded a build log to MediaFire should anyone be interested in how they were constructed and over what time period.

Any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Do the speaker grills still fit?

Yes, they do fit, but only just. To get them fitting properly, you will have to do a bit of basic re-moulding (not hard) of the grills with a hammer or something to knock them into shape.

These don't fit any of the cars that I have, so I need these out of my garage.

Nobody wants a GOOD quality set of pods? These are so much better than the standard pods, for the price of $70 they are an absolute bargain!

These are much stronger, meaning you can put in those heavier, beafier mid basses.
They use the space (that was the map pocket) as breathing space for the midbasses, so that your driver's get even more air movement. Since we know that midbasses in doors essentially act as free-air (infinite baffle) drivers, the more air the better.
They are not plastic, unlikely to break or snap (fibreglass and MDF is a strong combination).
They look just like the standard ones, being vacuum formed and all. Same texture and feel as the originals.
Very light so that when you do fit your beefy midbass, they will not flex the hinges of the door.
