Ive got some 18x8 VT Monaro rims fitted to my VR and am going through rubber quite frequently - on a live axle rear end.
rather than shell out on some fresh front tyres and cycling my current fronts to the rear - i was thinking about just going for some custom rear wheels that i can make use of on the street & strip.
does anyone know what the max wheel width is, i can slam in my VR without tubbing / mini-tubbing it is ? - and following that, does anyone know any place around melb in victoria that can knock up a set of custom wheels (preferably 18x 'whatever max width is') and what price approx i may be lookin at for the wheels themselves.
