dark metallic purple for a boy?

The next time you see a purple car on the road let your instincts talk, what's the first thought that pops into your head? For me I honestly think, chicks car. It is without a doubt a feminine colour.

Just like when I see a dude driving a Mini (the new BMW one not the old school actual mini) or a Miata the association is.... well you know what it is! Regardless of how good a car they are

I agree, until conditioned to think so Pink was not considered a feminine colour either - that's actually a fairly recent thing. Same with blue for boys.

So what if it's purple. I painted my Calais purple doesn't mean I drive around in 6 inch heals and makeup.

Cos I'm already 6"2" just flats and makeup suit me fine..

Depends on the shade of purple too methinks. I think it was the morpheous purple the VE came out with, now that was definitely a feminine colour.

thats what i was refering to. BRIGHT purple just screams "IM NOT SURE WHAT GENDER PARTNER IM LOOKING FOR!!!!"
