Hey this is big news for my industry, especially WA tinters, but more importantly, EVERYONE
On April 13 the Government of Western Australia Department of Transport announced a change to WA VLT regulations - 20% VLT is now permitted behind the driver.
Now both the Northern Territory and Western Australia permit darker films behind the B pillar. The change reflects the WA government’s recognition of the privacy glass situation and the unfair laws restricting Australian businesses (like mine). WFAANZ has been addressing this issue through a prolonged lobbying and petition campaign, so this is great news for all IMO.
Now to bring the laws Australian wide, and darker window tint for all
