Hi guys,
I have an 81 Mitsubishi L200 with a vn v6 and auto in it. The conversion was done around 20 years ago and uses the mitsi loom for most of the electronics/lamps etc, and the commodore loom for the engine.
The VN instrument pod has been put in.
I'm currently trying to tidy up the wiring job because it looks like it was done by the apprentice, and basically none of the instruments and dash lamps work properly.
So far I have gotten just about everything going apart from the oil pressure lamp and the highbeam lamp
the highbeam lamp will stay on, even with key off, unless the high beam is on (the bulb had been removed)
The oil lamp doesn't come on at all. I removed the plug from the sensor and if I give the lamp wire 12v it will turn on only when the key is off
I have checked the wires coming from the instrument pod for these lamps, and they show 12v. is this correct?
or so I have a wire wrong somewhere and it is feeding them?
