Hey guys, just wondering what is ment to light up with the headlights??

On mine the instrument cluster, A/C button, vent selector and fan speed all illuminate

But I'm assuming the gear selector and cigarette should light up but what about the hot/cold dial, hazard button, headlight switch and R/Dimister button? Are any of them ment to light up?

Everything you said should light up.
The globes are probably blown.

Ok I've poped out the buttons and found where the lights are, so next time I'm out and about I'll get those...

Only thing, I'm not 100% sure the headlight switch is ment to illuminate... I've removed the switch but there is nothing obvious

Cool Cheerz guys...

How this for sucky... My ODO was not working and apon inspection the little grey gear was damaged, so I've replace it with a genuwine VDO gear... Then my speedo stoped working... Turn out while I had in on my bench top I broke a section on the circuit board/ribbon..... Grrrrrr.... So I've very carefully repaired the broken section with some solder and now my speedo is working again.... But the bloody ODO is still not... So looks like it's coming out again lol

I'm 99% sure the gear is seated and meshed correctly so hopefully it's just another section of the board that needs repairing.

Does anyone know what the voltage is of the motor for the ODO?
