I use Meguiars Ultimate Protectant on my interiors now. It's think like custard to wipe on and I leave for an hour or three before wiping the excess off. I've only been using it for the last few years, so unsure of the long term, but it lasts a long time and appears to keep the materials from drying out for a lot longer than anything else I've ever used. But I am pretty good at putting up a sunshade whenever the car is going to sit exposed to the sun.
