I bought the DashCommand app but i can only see GM PIDS 2009 as an in-app purchase. Is this the one?

Also, I haven't managed to select my car from any list. I have basically selected Chevrolet and then put in my own model name, as there is no option for Holden, let alone Commodore. I'll have a look for the threads on it, unless you just want to put it in here. cheers.
Yes that's the one.
Holden doesn't make the grade, Pontiac G8. Yes I'll do that over weekend.

All working, went for a drive this morning: oil temp at 100c, tranny fluid at 90c.

I'll check after a crawl in Sydney traffic and see what it peaks at.

IAT seemed high at 43c

I have a cheap Amazon OBDII for my VX LS1 and use it with DashCommand and my iPhone. It works well but the diagnostic codes for GM are pretty expensive add-on. It did however allow me to diagnose a problem that I was able to fix myself so it did pay for itself.

One thing I don't like is the dongle takes all of the wifi connection so no 3G/4G internet while it is in use.

Maybe the diagnostic codes are different to the PID codes?

I got the GM USA ones a long time ago, from memory it was $30 USD at the time, I could have a bad memory but it wasn't that cheap!
