Hey guys

decided may aswell put up a thread of my ute, bought it totally stock with 260.000 kms 16 months ago then lost my licence 12 months ago so its just been sitting . mods i have done personally are ..

CD player
Amp
Sport comp water oil and volts gauges mounted in under radio pocket
VS Statesman dash
Lowered
VY SS 18's
3" super turbo dumping before the diff
removal of side strips
polished covers
rampod filter
3000 stall
6 point harness

and other stuff i prob cant think of. just rego'd it yesterday and get licence back next week. will upload some more pics in the next week. the maroon dash i want to repaint gloss black with clear coat ( got it maroon ) from wreckers. and it will be going down to awesome automotive for leon to work magic on it rather soon, i started doing statesman front end then my work went bust so i sold that off and will prob just get a ss front or front bar of a VS senator . still thinking .
pics are in vague order of since i got it and of things ive done then changed mind and done differently. half the other pics it wont let me add cause they are already posted in other threads , so ill update pics this week

Looks pretty ratty to me. Could use a lot of tidying up. And stick with the stock front bar not the stato one

Statesmen front bars are ugly as sin! statos in general are ugly as sin.

Keep the stock front bar.

Doesn't look bad just needs a general clean up, I love them 18's suit it well...must go like stink with a 304 in a ute

as i said ..stato bar not on anymore, original is back on and looking for vs senator or ss front bar, that was just sitting on there while i was lining it up.

plus it hadnt been cleaned in ages, havent had a licence in a year so its been sitting, washed it and polished it last night. only things to be fixed body wise is the black strip where someone used sikaflek to hold on the side strips and the gas filler hole.




UPDATE... Just took these five mins ago. :w00t:
its still in need of a buff as it hasnt been washed in a year but im just being over fussy

on list to to is

Woodgrain stato centre,
dvd player
Steering wheel
Leather seats
spool
dyno tune
fix silacon strip and ex gas filler hole
get a vs senator or clubsport bumper as front one is pretty shagged.
get the Plates TUF UTE
twin exhausts.
widened interceptors with red or whitewalls
and a LOT more lowering

Also how the hell do you get to drive a 304 on red P plates? Isnt there a way around the law how red p platers carnt drive a V8 if the cars been in the family for so many years ect or something like that? Well thats what a guy at my work was telling me cause hes getting his dads V8 VS ute and driving it back up to cairns from victoria...??

Shame its a auto tho.. really like the stato dash in it, will look good once that strip is painted black. Are you going to paint the lower blue/grey plastics on the dash black also?

The laws are different in SA - we do not have restrictions as far as I know.

Looks heaps better washed mate. Reasonably neat looking ute apart from a few lil things.

Really?? Does this apply in Victoria? And will this maybe apply to me coz I'm 16 ATM. Awesome if its true. Maybe I can drive my dads HZ statesman afterall. :w00t:
