What fuel where they running, did they up the timing advance as well as the foamy tune?

It should never, ever ping.
Detonation is bad tuning and will eventually kill the motor.

The guy I know has a totally standard VT SS with a foam tune.

Yeah it does a good job of ####ing piston tops - I've never had an issue with it running 95RON or 98RON but I always run on 98RON anyways.
Odd it had an issue, did foamy do a re-tune on it (i.e. was it sent back)? I know with mine it went back and forward a few times until we got the shift points right.

all the bush's and belts cost under 200, mechanics told me i needed caster bushs then changed it to lower control arm before it will pass hmmmm

It could be a number of issues, incorrect spark plugs, too much timing advance at the dizzy, compression issues, carbon build up, **** fuel, etc... Jason is a pretty honest bloke, and I know for a fact he is more than happy to fix up tunes that might be a little off; if I were your mate I'd be getting in touch and getting a bit of timing pulled out of the tune or finding someone with a timing light.

Ahh, The car is 100% standard aside from the tune.
The owner of the car is more then capable of ensuring the rest of the mechanicals are in good working order.

Car didnt have KR before tune, has KR after tune.

just a small update for now, starting a new job in a few weeks so new mods will come real soon as i come up with them.

put the clear side indicators on today looks better with them on then amber, new bush's go into day as well

indicators look good mate, should try and find some chrome window surrounds, not sure if they do them for the waggons though

nah not available for wagons unfortunately, however you can get hold of some chrome tape,, theres a couple of wagons on here with it done,

side repeators look alot better mate, makes you wonder why holden even used the orange ones to begin with, same as the series 2 tail lights for the sedans

can't wait to see this thing evolve mate, keep the updates flowing
