Defectable Dent

So recently a woman drove into me, destroying the whole IRS. its almost fixed besides the huge dent in the rear left passenger door, I cant get the door off so i have to save a bit and let the panel shop do it. My question is in SA will i get defected for a huge dent in the door? are dents a defect? somebody told me they were but im not sure.. thanks in advance

Be cheaper to find a new door in the same colour, I've seen one for $75 (I have the same colour so I look often. But shouldn't the lady/her insurance have paid for everything?

I think as long as it hasnt got any sharp protruding metal then its ok but plus what showbags said above..

Pretty sure the OP said he couldn't get the door off. Hence panel shop.

generally a dent isn't a problem (except the unwanted attention) so long as the door opens and closes and there is not sharp edges a pedestrian will get caught on and dragged down the road it should be fine.
