I can see where it was possibly inappropriate, I think the bit about refugees is uncalled for; yes some humour in it but not appropriate for an ad on national TV.

Totally agree. I mean the ad is for panty liners and targeted at women, so use of the word vagina was thrown in cos they can, not for education purposes, surely no-ones going to assume it's for their asshole.

I wasn't born here, but by no means have I had it easy either.
I loved Dickies ad, esp. the bit about the illegal refugees! (Yes, thats another can of worms), anyways, I have had to pay for everything to be here!
I married an Aussie girl, even became a citizen - despite my parents complants.

My Grandparents, and I'm sure a lot of yours - paid the ultimate price to save Australia and many other countries from being taken over by the Germans and Japs, I for one am glad that we still have free speech, a right to say what we like - and its the pollies who tell us we can't.
