VS Statesman s2 & VY Acclaim Wagon
Hi all.... Help, I am not knowledgeable on diffs....

I want to change my VY Acclaim Wag to something like 3.45 or 3.7 gearing...

Been looking for a second hand diff centre to no avail....

Can you just buy gears to be fitted? Or can a diff specialist buy & fit gearing??

Cheers....apologies if dumb question,

Peter

If your swapping ring and pinion gears you will want a specialist to do it, it needs to be setup correctly with certain tolerances for it to last

I use this guy, he fitted a 3.46 and truetrac to my VX, I'm in the Sydney Region though, any local diff specialist can do it

I assume VX was a M78 housing, or did you swap to M80??

Speak to Steve Hillman at Shimtech. He has built me three diffs.
