hi all, i have a vr calais v6 auto, want to get 3.7s but what car can i get it out of or how do i go about gettin it, how does it go with drivin down the highway as i do a 10min drive down the highway to work everyday and sometimes go from brissy to the coast, can some people help me with ideas and what to do, cheers

check in the how to section there a big write up on it in there. 3.7's will be a bit harder to find then 3.9's or 3.45's though. you will be fine on highways youll just sit higher in the rev range at 100kmph.

doesnt make a real big difference, the gears are still the same between solid axle and irs. just makes it a bit simpler to take the diff out

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I heard someone saying you can order the different ratio diffs that holden make for the overseas model commodores.Might be worth checking out.

so if i get the diff centre out of a 91 or 92 model r31 it will go straight in
