just curious, what does changing diff gears do to your performance?

changing to a higher ratio eg. 3.08 to 3.7 will increase torque and acceleration but will lower top end power and speed.
opposite to that will lower torque and acceleration but will mean more top end power and spee.

good example is a mountain bike. put in the lowest gear ratio, hard to pedal but once your up and going nothing will stop you...go to the higer ratio and you pedal like heck accelerate fast but can only get a low top speed until you change gears
