Distance to empty?

My car drinks fuel like Aussies drink beer. It usually sits around 14.5L/100km around town and only says 500km left when i fill it up. This is driving like a grandma....

Yeah, If I drive pretty sedately I can get my wagon down to around 14L/100K. It's pretty common for it to sit around 17L/100K . I'm pretty sure it's cos most of the time I only drive it to and from work, less than 1KM, which has one big ass hill in the middle. Makes it look bad, but I think when I was living elswhere it was much better.

Depends on driving style, modifications to car (cold air intake, extractors, tune etc), also goes off fuel used (98Ron, cheap **** fuel), also goes off how hard you drive.. freeway driving all the time will increase it..

Which petrol do you think works out more economical for a long distance trip?
