I have run my VX SS on 98 since new, on the last service the mechanic changed the fuel filter after 40,000km which is what the service interval in the book is and he commented on how clean the filter was for 40,000km. I have never used any injector cleaners.

Yes your wasting $'s. Also why would you want to flush crap into the cylinder?

There is injection cleaning properties in 98 octane fuel if you switch to that you Wont need injector cleaner at all

Not all 98's have additives, Shell 98 for example does not have additives of any kind, whereas v power does have anti friction and cleaning additives.

Always 98, I was using vpower but since I moved I'm using bp ultimate

Im yet to find a shell 98 pump all the pumps ive been to were v power and if i cant get that i use bp ultimate as well
