Do "VY SS" seats fit in "VN SS"

Just wondering if "VY SS" seats will fit into a "VN SS".....? Front and back...

And also are "VY SS" seats electric?

i was toying around with the same kind of idea, i "borrowed" a mates vy calais passenger seat had a look at the bottom thinkin to swap the seat rails to avoid engineering the floor of the car, but it was a complete no go.

next best thing i did was grab an ass ended vn calais, rob the interior and electrics, sell the good panels and driveline and motor and hey presto! upgrading your interior just made you money! lol.

But yeh thats what i was thinking of maybe trying to change the rails...but obviously it cant be done as you say....

It's a pity they don't, I like the shape of the seats from VT onwards.

i am currenty fitting VN s seats in my VN
i have all the carpet out and it should be done over the weekend
i am drilling new holes through the bottom of the Vt rails at the front and im going to weld new brackets on for the back into the floor not really a hard job if you can weld good and have a bit of enginering experiance
im a boilermaker so it look pritty easy
i also have a word doc on how to get the vt -vx rear seat to fit in if any one wants it

i suppose i should've been more clear about transplantin car bits.
just about anything is possible about anything to do with cars, it entirely depends on your time, budget, experience, qualifications and whether or not you can be assed doing it!

i saw another post here last night about a guy who had put a vn s2 motor in a HOVERCRAFT lmao..

Guys what seats can we put into a VN then? I just got a VN wagon and its got brown interior.Talk about horrible,so im gonna change all the trims etc but want some decent seats.
Can we fit upto VS series seats as a straight bolt in?

yeah i am probably taking the car out to work today to weld the brackets to the floor for the rear fo the seat
i will take pics and all if you guys want
as i know how hard **** can be when you gotta sus it all out for yourself

the rear seat i cant get the back bit in like that word doc but i have come up with some ideas that will be tested today
