Hi ,
As everyone here knows our cars rubber seals shrink and become unstuck.
A few years ago I sikaflexed my original seals on pinchweld and added a joiner piece to cover for shrinkage. I should've just bought new identical rubber from Clarks and glued that but didn't know at that time.
Anyways seals leak on front doors and water enters cabin between scuff and kick panels and I'm debating whether to glue new Clark rubber on pinchweld or to buy aftermarket. Up to now I've been reluctant to buy aftermarket in order to keep pinchweld original but mainly because they look bulky and I've had an experience on another car where doors needed to be slammed to close.
Wondering if members here have experience using them and with this issue generally?
Thanks.
