Hi, I was putting in a plenum spacer and manifold insulator and dropped a bolt down the manifold or plenum or wateva ya call it lol I know it will kill the car if I run it with it in there. How do I get it out??? I dropped it in the front port I have removed the passeneger side rocker cover and rockers but can't see it. What else do I need to do to get to it?

Maybe try some sort of Magnetic Extension thingy to try to get it.
I bought a Extendable Magnetic Rod a few years ago.
It looks like a Pen which extends like a car antenna and has a magnetic tip.
This may do the trick.
Comes in handy when I drop bolts/nuts in the engine bay.
Bought it from Bursons.

you can get similar things to the magnetic ones. But they have a claw on the end. So you would push it down the runner, then close the claw and retrieve. Its a great invention lol

A galvanised bolt is still magnetic - the bolt itself is still made from steel. ;)

Also, lifting the rocker cover won't get you access to the port - only the rockers and pushrods....

I reckon you'll do OK with one of the magnet pick-up tools that oztech suggested - but them claw tools are great too, huh Class Calais??? :D

All the best with it. Cheerz!

I dropped a injector pintle cap down the injecor hole once, I got it out with a vaccume cleaner and a roll of duct tape and a hose. Get a smalish hose and tape it to the end of the vaccume and stick the hose down into where you think it is.

If you haven't got a magnet handy, a long steel rod with the an old speaker on it will do the trick

as said already, get yourself a magnetic rod - i've got a "snap on" brand one which ive used before to get a plenum bolt out of the runners before and it worked a charm - very easy to remove the bolt with it.
