camshaft and tune will get you around that.

cam and bump the comp up a bit and a good exhaust plenty of guys in speedway getting around there some more and there runnin on a standard vn computer.

The above advice is what you'll need, but don't forget a rebuilt engine as well.

As others have mentioned a cam and tune will get you that figure. In saying this though, what is your definition of a limited budget?

Cam, comp good zorst and tune.
I came very close to 150 with a different manifold rockers exhaust and a tune but I think that was largely a healthy engine and top notch tune.

And you can try getting a V8 throttle body from the wreckers, 2.5 cat back on eBay for about $150, planium chamber spacer, under drive pulley set,
You could even try looking for a rare manual steering rack and remove the AC as well (this option was once offered for utes)
But this is mostly bolt on stuff, to get reel A T W kw punch you need to spend a little bit
