Ecotec to 304 swap

Got a question, so i would like put a 304 into my vs v6 ecotec now my question is do i need do swap the k frame from a v6 to a v8 to suit the 304 or not?

Get as much parts as you can from same model donor vehicle...it makes life so much easier especially smaller stuff you don't think about.

and it'll have to go through engineering for registration purposes as you can't just swap over power plants to a higher powered unit without all the rigmarole that goes with it.
