My VX Clubsport with new manifold set-up just fitted. Motor std HSV extractors, isky cam, dual valve springs, otr, excedy clutch, 6 speed. Car is daily driver and made 275rkw with original inlet manifold. Haven't dyno'd since new manifold been fitted but very happy and looks great.

Me i wouldnt buy that manifold and put a nose job on it that made the front look like elephant man but each to their own.

Thanks Soop, will post some figures after I get it dyno'd. I've alway's liked things a bit different and appreciate pretty much any quality job done properly. If we all worried about what others thought, nothing would change and progress wouldn't be made. Yes I could have spent my money on new extractors, larger throttle body and exhaust system, but I want to see what I can get out of the standard exhaust before I step it up again. This car is my wifes daily driver and she too likes something different awsell. Yeah she even said the bonnet scoop looks too big, but she is getting use to it and loves the power. Happy wife, happy life. I guess I'm pretty lucky to have a partner that lets me play. I expected responses on the negative side, but hey I love it. I like when the sun shines in under the bonnet scoop when driving along and you can see the throttle body and manifold sticking through the bonnet. I have definately noticed an increase in mid range and top end, but I guess i'll see when it's dyno'd.

I don't mind the scoop to be honest. Thought about doing it myself.
Howd you go about it might I ask?

Scoop was made and fitted to bonnet by Alfa Motorsport. Great guys to deal with. I dummy fitted edelbrock manifold, etc, fitted another secondhand bonnet and cut hole in bonnet to make sure it would all fit then put it all back together, as I said car is daily driver. I then sent bonnet to Alfa Motorsport where Frazer made and fitted the scoop. This took 3 days but I think it normally takes a buit longer, they where helping me out as it was in a wedding at the end of the week they started the bonnet. Frazer gave me a call saying all done. I picked it up and dropped it off the panel shop where they smoothed everything out and gave it a coat of paint. Again this was done in a day. Thanks Drouin Smash Repairs. The scoop is XB Cowl. All work out good.

Scoop was $450 fitted. Bonnet was blue seconhand item and this cost $550 for painting etc and I gave him a slab of jack just for doing it straight away. Bonnet was off our other crashed clubby we brought as a doner car for another project. So it adds up pretty quick.

looks good, i like the edlebrock manifold, something different on an ls1 and gives it more of an old school look, rocker covers look horn as. Do edelbrock do a relocation bracket for the coils as well or did you source them else where?
