I still stand by my original post, crock of sh*t, they've been around for ages now.

More of a restriction then a benefit.

The twin 50,000rpm system would work great.
And the closer you can fit it too the throttle body the better it would work.

Just reading it again, its lacking key information, how much air it can pump. 25 thousand rpm means nothing until you find out how much its moving. Oh well I'm done.

I've seen a similar product in action over here in NZ and bolting one on doesn't do much, but with a few modification and bolting 4 of them on works pretty well for a cheap mod -

I'm with u Bax, it's a crock.

A S/C will take 10's of HP to drive. Think an electric motor can deliver that at a nominal 12Volts? Let say it is 10HP (= v. low power requirement for a real S/C), 750W (10HP) at 12V, P=VI, => 62.5 Amps. What does a normal alternator put out? Typically 60A. Don't expect to drive anything else then. And that's ignoring any other aspects such as response time.

I wouldnt buy one but I wouldnt mind experimenting with the idea myself. Later model alternators are 90 amps min, up to 120 aren't they? I thought 60 amp were old pre injection

Sounds reasonable but I screwed up; 10HP is 7500W = 625A.

i actually run 4 of them on a twin throttle body. When they kick in, trust me. It helps a bit. Probably enough for a twin turbo setup running low boost. By saving a good 1k.

They sound insanely loud and cops love the sound of them but hey.
