Hay guys would you believe both ve wagons we have now suddenly have the engine check lights on :( Is there a way to reset it on the dash? both cars have had a service recently.
Would a low oil level cause this?

I'd check what the error codes are before resetting them... Plenty of threads on how to scan codes with a cheap OBD reader

I get the check engine light every time my fuel gauge gets to about 1/3 and the code shows high voltage on fuel sensor...............but that's another story :s

code reader on the way, I pulled the battery off the wife's and the engine checks gone.

Curious but what reader did you get?

If the cars were serviced recently, you might of been able to take it back and say there is a check engine light on. They could have checked the codes for free since they did a job recently.

My mechanic is pretty good, reads codes for free for me. Then we figure out the best way to go.
