I would like some information on V6 engine numbers on VT series or WH statesman series. As far as I know they start with "VAXXXXXX". Now this is confirmed on the rego papers and the green slip itself when you purchase the car. Now as most of you know, the engine numbers on these V6's are very hard to get at but at the same time on the passenger side behind the last spark plug next to the bell housing next to the auto gearbox (being a statesman), it has a sticker there stuck on the block that repeats the engine number but with one difference. It has "VAXEXXXXXX" so since this is the case as the mobile phone has copied it. Can someone tell me what the XE is? Again it should be VA with 6 numbers so we have on that sticker VAXE - what does the XE stand for?
