****! thats not bad at all, assuming we have 30% loss through the drivetrain that comes out to 190-200kw at the flywheel. your torque figures is what i was more impressed with, 260ft-lb ! good stuff.

which cam from mace did u use?

Bumping this thread.
For the price you spent id say this is fine? It keeps it reliable while making it competitive (if not faster because of your torque curve) than a few more modern v6's.
Looking at rebuilding my vx's engine...Its done 240,000 km's. So this thread was a big help.
Do you still have the car? How did it run in? Do anything else? f/i?

No mate the car no longer runs. A year back I did a routine inspection of the car and I left the radiator cap off, and went driving, it didn't even overheat for 20 odd minutes but the damage was done. It took 8 litres of coolant to fill it back up but I had cooked the engine. The engine I had built to last for many years I have destroyed by nothing more than forgetting the radiator cap, drove me nuts.
