Is it possible to put a VX engine in a VE what's involved I'm having that problem where the car idles rough breaks down on acceleration can't seem to fix it fought an engine swap might be better

Nope can’t put a vx engine into ve legally, physically it could be done but not easily you’d have to change so much to make it work it wouldn’t be even worth trying.... I’d put money on it you can fix yours without going to the trouble of swapping out the engine mate is yours a v6 or v8? What have you replaced or tried already?

I can understand this - the ecotecs were a lot better to maintain and debug than the alloytecs.

Tried replacing the throttle body? Quite a common problem, especially on earlier VE V6 models
