Hey lads, swapping a 304 and t5 with all wiring and ecu into my 3.8 vs Ute, any tips and tricks to making this easier, any special tools etc

And does anyone make an ecotec engine cover to fit the 304, still a p player so trying not to be as noticeable

By the time you rip the exhaust off,put 98" wheels on it and drop it into the weeds...yeah no one will notice.
Putting a coco pops tune on it will make it even more discreet.
Wish I could get a 304 cover for my 3.8, (not)

Run a stock V8 exhaust, drive sensibly and pray you don't get asked to open the bonnet if you are pulled over.

Unfortunately you can't buy that, so you're shite out of luck with this

Well there you go , just looked V8 VS banned for P platers in QLD .
I thought NSW was nanny state ,but they're P plate legal here.

Only if you get caught, haha. Doing or maybe not things to increase the odds of not getting pulled over can help.

I can’t imagine what a smashed VS donor car would go for. Would be significantly more than a Ecotec powered VS.

The whole project is going to be expensive.
