- VN Executive Series II
Hi, I have a lovely 91 VN Series II, but need a new engine and trans. I have the offer of both(apparently) from a 95 VR with low kms, but would like to know if they are compatible with my VN?
I believe the engine should bolt in, but the VR GM4L60-E trans is different to the VN TH700-R4 - would I need to use the VR computer? And can I use a VN trans and computer with a VR motor? Ideally I would get donor parts from a VN, but here in NZ they are VERY few and far between, and have usually done a million ks. I also would prefer to keep as many parts from my VN as possible - else I'd just buy a VR
Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated,
